It's a fun morning out with a great atmosphere. We'll help you with sponsorship forms and setting up a Justgiving fundraising page.
We'll also refund the entry fee of £29.50

MoveIN / MoveON APPEAL
MoveIN/MoveON grants help clients when they move in or move on from SCDT accommodation. A relatively small amount of money (usually £250) can make a huge difference at a crucial time in their lives.
We can only provide MoveIN/MoveON grants with your donations. Help us to help residents to continue their progress. It helps them and the communities they live in.
GRANT FUND Appeal
Learning new skills boosts your confidence. Often when clients have been with SCDT for a length of time, they are keen to improve their education, learn new skills and to move towards employment, volunteering or further education.
We awarded a grant of £160 to a client to go on a computer maintenance course. He had been in an accident, was unable to go back to work and lost his rented house because he couldn't keep paying the rent. He's now been re-homed and has new hope for the future - small money can make a big difference!
We paid for one client, who had struggled with education and work all his life, to get a dyslexia assessment.
We were able to pay for one of our clients to go on a football coaching course. She now volunteers at a local school teaching football skills to young children, in addition to helping at a young mum's group and taking her NVQ in childcare.
